Summer in the Adirondacks

Many who vacation in the Adirondacks find that Summer is the best time of the year. The Garnet Hill Community has the only private sandy beach on picturesque 13th Lake. It is the perfect swimming spot - roped off swimming area, 2 floating rafts, dock, gentle slope with sandy bottom and beach. The lake shoreline is 96% state owned which makes it one of the most peaceful lakes in the Adirondack Park. You can enjoy the beautiful surroundings and sounds of the loons without being disturbed by motorboats.

During the late Spring, Summer, and Fall, the Garnet Hill Mountain Bike Center is in full operation - be sure to bring your helmet! If you forget your bike, rentals are available at the Center.
